The main train station (Firenze S.Maria Novella) is just 10-15 minutes walking from us. If you have a lot of luggage you can get a taxi and in 3 minutes reach our place.

We are located in the walking-area, historical center! No cars are allowed to drive here, sorry. There are many Parking here around (5 minutes walking). Costs approx. 21/30 Euro per 24hours (dipends on the car size)

How many flights of stairs to the room?

we are located in a historic building (since 1632) so we have NOT the elevator. We are at the second and third floor (30/45 steps to climb). Of course we can help you to carry up your luggage

If you wish to arrive in the evening we need to know in which way you are reaching Florence (train arrival time, flight number, etc), thank you. And please we have to set up an appointment, thank you. Usually we do not accept Check-in after 8.00pm.

We are located in the square in front of the Cathedral. In a historic building (17th century) and so we have not elevator. We are at second and third floor. There is a small lift for luggage

We are located in the walking-area. No on-site parking. You can park in Garage here around (5 minutes walking) Approx cost: 26Euro per 24 hours. Thx

Incredible location and view
Amazing location. Window opening out over the square and a view of the cathedral. Could not have been lovelier. Lots of activity below which didn’t bother us but might others. The host was charming and moved us into the Cathedral view room which is higher and better I think so book that if you can. It’s not modern but the building is hundreds of years old. It’s amazing. Loved our stay there.
Bit of a climb up the stairs but no biggie.

Fantastic location, spacious and comfortable apartment with wonderful host, we were thrilled to stay here.
Absolutely the most fabulous location, right on the Duomo square with views of the Cathedral and Baptistry from the sitting room, in a stunningly preserved 16thC home. Well appointed, large apartments with separate sitting room living area and modern bathroom, and location of the bedroom at the rear away from the Duomo square which made the bedroom comfortable and quiet. Excellent air-conditioning throughout Wonderful hosts who have provided many home comforts, including minibar fridge, kettle with tea, coffee and some snacks as breakfast service was not included. Our hostess Giuliana was warm, welcoming and very helpful in her orientation of the apartment, provided a map with Florence attractions and suggestions for local authentic Italian dinner Trattoria options, as well as advice for breakfast and direction to the local covered food market.

The location and the balcony were amazing!
Only a small thing - The pastries at breakfast were a little stale. Coffee and fruit were lovely though and so nice to have on the wonderful balcony.
